איסוף המידע מבוצע ע"י טכנולוגית PLC, קרי העברת מידע על קווי הרשת
האוגר מזהה את הצרכן, אוסף ושומר את המידע לגביו. איסוף המידע מכל צרכן מתבצע כול 15 דקות
לכול אוגר ניתן לחבר עד 1000 נק' למעקב מניה (ניתן לחבר גם מניית גז ומניית מים)
בכול אוגר בנוי מודם על הכרטיס הראשי אותו צריך לחבר לקו טלפון קווי או סלולרי
